Motueka Saltwater Baths

The Motueka Saltwater Baths were built in the year 1930. We are talking about one of the first infinity pools in the entire world, with sights to fascinate you. Make sure to visit during high tide season, preferably at sunset or early in the morning. If you do so, the baths might be there only for you. Walking on water practice is possible here.

Oparara Arches

You can visit the Oparara Arches together with all the stunning attractions of Kahurangi National Park. Visitors go through a 2 kilometers track as they experience ancient rainforests. Once you reach your final destination, you can see a huge limestone arch. The destination is very easy to access for people of literally all fitness levels. Just make sure to bring your camera with you.

Mount Stokes

Located in Marlborough Sounds, Mount Stokes stands out as the highest point, with an altitude of 1203 meters. You want to be there to see everything around you from an entirely new perspective. Go through the forest track and you will see the sub-alpine environment. On the way, keep your eyes open and you might see the Powelliphanta, which is a huge carnivorous snail. You can only find this in the country of New Zealand.

Len Eye Centre

Located in Taranaki, New Plymouth, the Len Lye Centre and the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery are perfect for those interested in art. The center is Len Lye’s home. He was a pioneering poet, filmmaker, painter, and sculptor. On display, is his fantastic multi-media artwork collection. You will see kinetic art and experimental films. You are going to see Modernism as a unique view.

Stewart Island

Stewart Island is the third in the main island chain of New Zealand. It is thus remote, usually overlooked, and incredibly beautiful. Here you can find one of the country’s best possible walks in the Rakiura Track. Do you want to see kiwi free in the wild? This is where you see them. Also, the location is renowned because of its night skies, with the IDA giving it the status of International Dark Sky Sanctuary.

Castlepoint

Castlepoint is a lighthouse located in Wairarapa, in the middle of the stunning Castlepoint Scenic Reserve. You just need to drive for an hour and a half from Wairarapa Martinborough town. Once there, you will get to see small whales, dolphins, and even fur seals.
