Shortbread Cookies are those small little bites of buttery delight that melt in your mouth and create a fabulous aftertaste.
If you’ve ever had shortbread cookies you would know that this is something that you could gobble up as much as you want. Right? They are so buttery. So soft. So cute and most importantly so tasty.
Making a shortbread cookie is quite tricky. You cannot add water while making the dough. Your dough has come together with just melted butter. So, you can easily imagine that you would need a lot of melted butter for this purpose. Moreover, to make it even tasty we don’t even add milk or anything liquid.
We want that solid butter flavour in our cookies. Therefore while making shortbread cookies we should always keep the quantity of butter high.
Moreover, you can give these shortbread cookies any flavor you like. From Apple Fennel to Twix cookies to many other varieties. You can add as many flavors as you want.
